Ok, guys. I need honest information. I currently have a 1989 190D and am thinking of selling it for a more modern Mercedes and because for some reason my current Mercedes mechanic is putting off the vibes that he doesn't want to work on it any more. Before I make my decision, I am wondering about how well a gasoline engine will hold up over time, as long as it is well maintained? I am asking this here, because I don't want any bias, that I might get from a dealer. Your thoughts and opinions are appreciated. Thank you.
