Ok so I was thinking the other day I really want to do a om617 diésel swap in like a truck i seen some for sale here were i live but some are really high mileage and I do want the engine to be good my friend bought one recently and when we got home we compression test it 2 cylinders were low compression and there is a little blow by so because I do want to swap it and daily drive it so the other day I thought about a idea can any one help me out what if you buy some new vw tdi pistons because I do want the engine to be strong will it work if I rebuild it with new vw pistons
