Default Changing Gear Oil

I checked out dieselgiant's website and was planning on changing the oil on the rear diff. Can someone tell me how big of a bottle I need to buy? I was thinking the quart was enough. Thanks.

Check your rear CV joints. They wear like iron, but they do need to be serviced (check your manual) based on driving habits. To perform CV joint service you have to drop both axle shafts, remove grease boots (discard), disassemble, clean everything in mineral spirits, dry, slip new boots on the axles, apply new grease to joints, reassemble, affix boots and reinstall shafts. Lobro makes the best CV maintenance kit for M-B.
