California Now Smogging Diesels
I went to register my "new" 1993 300D today and the folks at California DMV told me they are now requiring smog tests for all diesels, 1998 model year and later.
Fortunately my car is old enough to be exempt from the requirement.
Perhaps this isn't news, but it's the first I've heard of California requiring smog testing for any diesels.
