Hello everyone. I'm new to MB diesels. Actually just started looking @ them recently. I found a 1990 300D w/ the 5 cylinder turbo according to the add. I looked at the thread about which ones to avoid and which to buy and found it a smidge confusing w/ all the models and motors etc. Is this model one to avoid? How can I tell what model it is? I'll try and get a picture of it. Thanks for your help, Curt

 

What kind of money & miles

 

Too many and too much. Ended up getting a 77 240D today. 228,000 miles, 4 speed. Had emissions done this afternoon and it only produced 6% of the allowed emissions. Thank goodness. Few things here and there that need some attention but over all i'm very pleased. My first MB
