I have a 85 300SD that the blinker does not stop blincking after I finish the corner. I can manually turn off the switch arm. So the question is, will replacing the combo switch and arm fix this problem?

If so, that leads to the next two questions, which are 1) How do you get that hard cover over the steering column off and possible 2) How do you take the steering wheel off? On the 123's you pry off the Merc emblem to expose an allen bolt, is it the same on this?

 

I do not know if they have the info you need below but they do have extensive info on a lot of jobs.
