I was under the impression that MB completely stopped making diesel wagons in '87, but just stumbled across a '92 & '94 300TD Kombi on the web. The '92 is automatic transmission (4Matic?), the '94 is manual.

Anybody know the rundown on these cars around this time? Were these stock or aftermarket? Problems?

And, what's the Euro obsession with cloth seats?
