Good Day All! I just purchased my first diesel. She drove from LA to Las Vegas without much incident. She is rock solid and was enjoyable to drive.

First question: As I have zero diesel experience, I would like to purchase a good maintenance manual. Is this a good place to start? Mercedes-Benz Classic - Mercedes-Benz Classic has a service manual for $110. Is this worth the money?

Second question: As I was driving to Las Vegas, after I filled the tank, when I went up a hill, my power dropped drastically! I went from 75mph to 25mph. On several hills, the car even stalled. Does this sound like a fuel filter?

If you're stuck on the side of the road, any port in a storm, if you can be choosey, pick on Wix or Baldwin they both are quality filters
