transmission went 3 years ago , replaced myself .... leaked about a year ago... then stopped
now leaking like a tap, out of grate at front of transmission close to engine... is this a seal or torque converter leaking???? how to tell... anyway to tell? thanks, for any input... this car is a turd,bodywise but i just cant part with it......!

 

If it's leaking from the front area in large quantity it's probably the front seal and very possibly the front pump bushing. In any case the trans will have to come out to fix it.
