Default 85 300SD rear sag

Hi I have rear sag on my 85 300Sd.I was thinking of simply putting air shocks on but since the shock is inside the coil spring I do'nt think this will work.My mechanic suggested I put springs from a 560 and H.D. shocks on to take care of the extra weight I carry in my trunk.I've read on other posts that the springs will not cure rear sag that maybe a rubber bushing on top of the spring is more the culprit along with shocks.Did anyone else have rear sag and what did you do to get rid of it?

Default RE: 85 300SD rear sag

When asked I look defensive, and tell people, "It's the damn dead bodies.." "Finding hiding places is getting difficult, with the CIA and FBI watching me.."

..a few ackward moments silence, and no one mentions it for awhile.

I've got new rear shocks, waiting for warmer weather in the trunk.. I'm hoping they're just more worn out than I am.
