Fixed several issues on the car, but have numerous to go, but she's very drivable. I put in an air filter while servicing many items. The pan in which the filter sits was coated in oil and even had a very small pool of it in one spot. Never seen anything like that. I am assuming that it was from the PCV valve which is connected to the rocker cover. The PCV valve is also seeping a little where it connects to the rocker cover. I also, on occasion, get a chattering when I turn the switch on. Not as its starting or when running, just as I turn the switch. It's coming from the box (can't recall what it is) right next to the radiator on the driver side of the engine. It connects I think to engine and injection pump. What gives? Any help would be much appreciated.

 

Sounds like glow plug relay, perhaps. Does it start without any issues? Does the glow plug light come on when you turn on the key, then go off 5-10 seconds later (depending on temperature)?
