Hi I have non operating door locks and decided to take the door panel off to see what I could see the other night. I believed I would find a central vacuum switch of some sort but saw nothing that looked similar to the dieselgiant video nor did I even see vacuum lines coming into the door on the drivers side door? Are there electrically operated central door locks as well because I only saw and felt electrical wires running into the door and vacuum lines seemed to be non-existent? If so is there a relay somewhere I should check first?

 

There is no vacuum on the driver door. It is manual, so to speak. There is a switch in there. When you lock/unlock by hand, the switch will activate the pump in the trunk to control the vacuum locks.

Thanks for the replies. I located the pump in the trunk unplugged and plugged back in to make sure it was capable of functioning which it did... nice. I then traced the vacuum line up to the 4 way connector by the fuel door and noticed only 3 of the 4 connections had anything connected to them and what do you know the top connector which runs to the fuel door was disconnected!! So after re-connecting it I checked the operation and found everything working nicely all 4 doors and the trunk sweet I love easy fixes like those. Now I just need to get my corrected Title back from CA so that I can drive it around once again. Thanks again guys.
