Default 300TD Question

hello everyone...Just a quick question for you MB enthusiasts. I am mainly into VWs so my knowledge of MBs is not too extensive. However, I have a 1984 300TD Wagon which I am trying to sell, but I am not sure how much to ask for it. It has 213,000 miles and has been garaged its whole life. It is in excellent condition minus 2 or 3 small spots of surface rust. It is mechanically sound (runs well, tranny is good, has had regular service). Oh yea, and it was imported from Germany. So, I'm not really sure how all that adds up but I am hoping someone here can give me an idea...my rough estimate is 2000-3000 but I may be off. Please let me know, thanks in advance!

i know it may SEEM like no ones listening, but they are. i think the lack of response o our posts is no one feels qualified to give you a number or me advice. im in massachusettes and i could call a friend in the business and give you a ballpark figure, if that helps. he has been buying selling and trading for about 20 years. say the word and it shall be done.

thanks for the response...I didn't think much qualification was necessary, I just figured the people on this forum would know enough to make a more educated guess than myself. I have a vague idea of what I could get for it, but if someone who knows a lot more about this car than I do told me I could get $2k more than the number I had in mind, well...then that would be $2k more in my pocket. So I was just looking for a ball park figure but if you wouldnt mind asking your friend that would be great! Thanks a lot.

my friend said it is one of those cars that you get what you can. a 1000 dollars is all the money for it. however....you may find more if you try.
