Hi i was looking to sell my 300sdl it has 296k miles it has been in my family since October of 1999 when my dad bought it with 273k miles. I was wondering what it was worth i have it posted on here for $4500 obo I dont think that is unfair what do u guys think?

 

It all depends!

What is the body and interior condition? Service records etc. It may well be worth $4500, or maybe not! If it's going to need $3 or $4 grand to bring it up to market average you may have a hard time selling it to anyone! On the other hand, if everything works and the body/interior are good, engine and drive train operate properly, maintained condition, an SDL with almost 300K may see $4500 or more possibly!

 

Hi, I bought a 1987, 300TD, 124, wagon, in really good condition about 2 yrs. ago, good paint, interior and no dents or rust, gave $3500 for it plus IL taxes, Hope this give you some value idea, also depends on part of US you are in. Good luck.
