I have a 1998 E 300 turbo diesel with 270,000 miles.
The check engine light came on.
I replaced that air mass sensor and the light still comes on.
The turbo charger does not engage.
The turbo charger doesn't make any noise and engine temp is normal.
I am looking for direction on what might be wrong.

I found out that the air mass sensor I bought is bad. I cleaned the buiild up on the old one and put it back in. The turbo works now. I would like to get a new one. Any suggestions on where best price is? I will pick up a new egr valve.
