1995 300d
My 300D is hard to start but after it has started no problem the rest of the day. The glow plug light is not lit before starting, but once it has started I noticed the glow plug light will come on for about 60 seconds and then go off. Is this a sign that it needs new glow plugs. Thanks Rick
Test each of your glow plugs with an ohms meter. You should get anywhere from 001 to 008. If you get all zeros, or an infinity reading on any one of the 6 GP's, that one is dead.
Also, pull the cover off the GP relay and look at the bar fuse for corrosion. ....BB
