1984 300SD Dashboard lights

Default 1984 300SD Dashboard lights
i am driving with no instrument lights. dimmer switch went out for good.
i know i can wire the rheostat wires together but have no clue as to how to remove the instrument glass panel.
can a kind soul help? thanks

youtube to the rescue. duh.
on youtube - mercedes 126 chassis switch panel removal and dash light repair by kent bergsma
now where to get hold of the long prongs.
