1983 240D Radio not working!!!
My radio just suddenly stopped turning on. This is a manual radio so I need to turn a **** to click the radio on. A light no longer turns on to indicate that the radio is on and the radio doesn't either.
The only problem I can maybe think of is that I attempted to insert a cassette/mp3 adapter (shown below), and it somehow screwed up the whole radio. The cassette successfully went into the slot the first time I tried, and I ejected it without problem as well. I listened to the radio a few more minutes and turned it off. After coming back into the car, I tried turning on the radio and it was broken.
I JUST got this car so ANY sort of help would be greatly appreciated. From step by step directions, to helpful tips, to estimating how much is will cost to fix. Thank you

Don't quote me but I think there is a fuse at the back of the radio as well as one in the fuse box.
Sometimes they actually just fall out.
I had a 99 e320 that lost sound, the fuse was sitting in the storage well and just needed to be plugged back into the amplifier.
