bought a 1982 300SD on ebay for $108.50,
Live in Buffalo, NY picked up car in Toronto Canada,
worked on it for a couple of weeks and got her running, took some advice from some of you all and went and made a try at adjusting the valves, they wouldn't budge. Car wouldn't start after that. Got to cold and she had to sit for the winter. Sorry.
Two weeks ago I trip over this other 82 300SD great frame not like the other.
Stole it for $800. Took too days of wrenching and got her running.
Moved over from parts car:
Injectors (5)
Glow plugs (5)
Glow plug wiring harness
New starter
Battery
Previous owner had after market intake replaced with OEM,
She started, well here is where my problem lies, he took off the heater control valve and the heater circulation pump then looped the heater core lines and blocked one line from the block.
Does this car have a heater core? It's not in the hanes manual. How do I check it? replace it? Any advice now that she runs? Any and all advice please!!
