Default RE: REMOVING WAX BEFORE REWAXING

Greetings, Just got my son his first car, 2004 C230K Coupe. I know, what was I thinking? But you gotta admit what a great first car eh? Cheaper than a honda civic and I believe a lot safer. Anyway part of his contract with me is to detail it 4 times a year to my satisfaction [&:] Yesterday was the wash and clay day. Never heard of the clay thing until researching it here and will say it really prepared the paint nicely. Got it from Zaino. Today was the first 3 coats of Zaino with 3 more tomorrow. Really looks beautiful and after the first coat goes on without effort. The research I saw was that dish soaps can actually harm the paint and may leave microscopic residue. Could be BS, but I went the clay method just in case.
