I read over at http://www.auto-power-girl.com/cars-..._hybrid__.html that Mercedes is planning to make the next generation Mercedes S-Class lineup hybrid exclusively. This is because of the rising carbon dioxide limitations in Europe and the mpg regulations in the United States. It seems that the dealers in the U.S. have said no to this idea. The final decision will be taken within 3 months time, as the new Mercedes S-Class will hit the European market in 2012 and the U.S. market in 2013.
