c55 is it true
i went to the NY auto show and i saw the c55 first bad *** ride. then the cl65 twin turbo wow. last one was the cls 500 i think i forgot the number but it was a wired car. i really like the c55

The C class AMG will have a V8 SOHC 5.4L for model year 2005, replacing the V6 SOHC 3.2L kompressor (now found in Chrysler Crossfire).
Although this is the first time to place the 5.4L V8 engine in the current C-class, but it is actually the second we see this engine in the C-Class.
Mercedes produced the model C55 for the last generation C-class, only in very small number, and none of them were U.S.-bound. It was the same engine used in 2001/2002 CLK55.
For model year 2005, C / SLK class both get the same engine as 2004 CLK 55, but SLK 55 gets the 7 spd auto.
