Tape Stuck in the Player

Default Tape Stuck in the Player

I have a 2001 ML320 and the tape wont come out of the casette player. When i press the tape button, it just says "Insert a Tape". Does anyone know how to get the tape out? I dont want to jus yank the tape out. i might brake the whole thing. PLEEAAASSSEEE someone help!!!

Most cassette players have a pinhole somewhere on the face. If you can find one, stick a stiff pin in the hole. That will unlock the mechanism holding the tape.

I'd ask the local high-end car stereo shop for advice. If there's a way to get it out I'm sure they'd know.
