Hello fello motorist. My Harmon K L7 (HKL7) system is in serious
need for improvement. I want to install an aftermarket amp and
speakers. Has anybody done this on an 06 ML before? If so,
please , can you help me do the same. Specifically, I need to
know if the HKL7 subwoofer can provide the signal needed for an
RCA converter. Also, what is the color code for the HKL7
subwoofer input wires.

It is definitely possible to put aftermarket equipment in that car as far as the sub I cant remember the bandwith that it give. It is possible you will have to sum the signal with other lines to get the desired frequency range. What are you looking to do, just add a sub or a full system?
