Default Sirius Radio Problem

My Sirius radio has acted quite strange the last few weeks and ideally someone will have an idea of what might be wrong with it. It constantly is searching for signal and then one day, no problem it works fine only to have the same problem the next day. All of the other functions of the audio system work fine. Any ideas!

I have a similar problem, except that mine will now not find a satellite at all. It says acquiring signal on the Head Unit and the dash display says NO SAT. Some have suggested a problem with the antenna connection.

I would be curious to know if you find a solution to your problem.

Default Problem solution

I don't know if I am lucky or just solved the problem temporarily but I followed the wire from the antenna to where it was connected to the audio system and simply disconnected it from there (it was just a normal connector which was taped around the connection) and carefully reconnected it followed by new tape. It now seems to work fine, we will see. If I was really smart and lucky I would have just opened up the slot on the left side of the trunk and could have solved the problem without having to re-run the wires back up to the roof of the car. Oh well, at least if I have to replace the antenna ultimately I can see that it will not be that difficult!
