When I bought my 2002 C230, I had the dealer to install the 6 disc CD changer and right now, it's not working anymore. My question is, can I just buy another factory Cd changer, take the old one out and replace it with the new one? If I do so, do I need to reset the computer in order for my car to reconize there is a new CD changer being install???? However, since I am just replacing the CD changer unit itself, not too sure can I bring it to any audio place and ask them to swab the old one out and put the new one back in. IF at the end, I still need to ask the dealer to reset the computer, then, mind as well, bring it to the dealer and change the old one out, better than paying two party. thx
