I just recently purchased a 560SL that in in pristine shape. When I picked it up the radio (becker AM/FM cassete)was working just fine but yesterday evening the radio just stopped working. I checked the radio fuse and it is intact. Can sombody please help with diagnostics and fix help? Thanx

I have the same problem with my 2003 E320. I still have to find the fix but I did hear the Mercedes uses fiber optics on the newer models and not hard wiring. The sensors can either go bad and or shut down (off) based on high temperature. I have been told that the dealer can re-program the sensors to a higher temperature. I am in Arizona so it needs to be set higher than say California which is where my car came from.

If I get confirmation of all of this and a solution I will post it.
