I was curious which radar detector everyone uses? I live in Houston and have a lot of laser used over here, I was thinking about going with the V1 ? Anyone else use this. I found this one website at http://www.RadarReviews.net which helped out a bunch, but I was curious what all you guys used as well.

Depending on how much you wanna spend! The dealership will install the CALIBRE for about 1600 bucks.

 

Go with the Valentine1 it is the best and Ive had one for about 8 years and its always saved me except for a time or two when i had the radio too loud and or not paying attention to hear the warning. It tells you if there is more than 1 signal to watch for and also front and back. very reliable and dependable. I trust it 100%. about $400 new. Dont even look at another radar/laser detector go with the V1. you will be very happy!! I am very happyand I love it. You can also send it in to V1 and they upgrade it for you for the latest and greatest technology. Dont make the mistake with going with any other one. Ive got a friend that has a very nice oneI think its a bel but we were crusing down the pa turnpike at over 120mph and i was coming up with 2 signals of radar on my V1, and he thought it was the usual sign that displays your speed so he didnt slow down, and he doesnt have the capability on his radar to see more than 1 radar signal but there was a cop using radar also and he got caught cause he didnt see 2 radar signals but my V1 did. he now has a V1!!!!
