Default MP3 again...

I really tried to search for an answer first but couldn't find anything appropriate.. Hope somebody can help...

I have a 2003 C32 AMG with navigation and CD changer. Neither of CD players seems to be able to play mp3s.

I found on the forum that some CD Changers can actually play mp3s. Is there any particular way I should burn a CD so it would be playable?

If I'm unsuccessful with existing players, how can I setup mp3 in the car? I have a CD MP3 player but there's no tape player in the car so I can't use the cassette adapter. I don't really want to buy an Ipod, first because I don't need it and also because I'll lose the CD Changer. I know there're transmitters that take memory cards with mp3s and transmit sound on the certian frequency to listen on the radio. Is this the only option?

Thank you!

Default RE: MP3 again...

ability to play MP3 disks is head unit reliant. so no, changing the burning method won't solve the trick. you'll need to swap out head unit if it currently does not support MP3. the other option would be to rig up AUX IN type interface so that an MP3 player could be patched into the input line.
