Default Ipod integration problem - keeps on shuffling

Just got my 2006 Black C230 . The dealership installed the IPOD integration module, which is a great. Now I get to control everything from the steering wheel. THe only problem is that it shuffles within all my playlists i.e. it doesn't play a playlists songs in the order that I laid the down in , which is obviously really irritating. I checked to make sure that the Ipod was not set to "Shuffle" however nothing has changed. When I use the IPOD on its own I don't have this issue. Does anyone have any ideas here? Many thanks in advance.

I had an iPod interface in my older car, and it did the same thing with playlists. It will play them according to what track number they are. So say if you take two track 1's, a track 8, and a track 13 off of 4 different CDs, it will play them in that order. 1-1-8-13. You can edit the track numbers in iTunes. If you erase all of the track numbers, it will play it the list in alphabetical order. Not sure if the Mercedes one works the same way, but thats how my Alpine operated.

That does make sense now that I think about it. However, today I realized that it was playing a playlist that was of an album in reverse order. Thanks for your advice
