My father is going to order the new 2006 (9th generation) S-class in the next few weeks and he wants me to hook up his i-pod similar to the way I have mine integrated in my BMW. It is a BMW accessory that is $150 that wires your i-pod to your stereo, chages it and allows you to control the songs with your steering wheel. Does MB make something similar that he can order from the factory or is there any other options??? Thanks for your help.

 

2006 S-class... W221, right? I am not sure what head unit your father will get, but if it's a DVD comand (made by Siemens)... chances are that you won't be able to connect MB's integrated iPod kit. As is the case with the 2004/5 W220s right now.
