We have a c63 2010 AMG. As of this morning, the screen wont completely open. It gets half way and just closes and opens again this keeps repeating over and over. There is definitely nothing jamming it. The cover opens completely. Any suggestions? 🤷🏽‍♀️

 

If you're a DIY guy I would start poking and prodding fuses/relays associated with the radio and/or related parts. Maybe it's not getting enough voltage and thinks it needs to close immediately upon opening. Or the opposite, too much voltage. Could be a bad ground, could be a few different things. You could try to disassemble the dash/console and get to the tracks for the screen and inspect it. Perhaps check all relevant electrical connections

If this seems like too much, I'd bring it to a European Specialty shop or a dealer. Sounds purely like an electrical issue and those are never fun.
