Default Adding sirius to 2005 c320 coupe

My wifes c320 coupe has a the pretty basic radio, the 6cd changer in the glove compartment but it doesn't have satellite radio.
Now we are thinking of adding Sirius to it, what are my best alternatives for something that won't look odd or work oddly, no fm transmistter stuff, or wires hanging around. Should I be looking at a used OEM MB sirius radio? does anyone know the exact code for the part I want? is it easy to install?

I am also looking at the same for bluetooth although I may just have to buy the wireless4mb stuff.

Thanks,

The car is pre-wired for SAT from factory, so why not purchase the MB SAT radio kit..? It will fully integrate with the car's audio system.

The kit itself isn't too hard to install (SAT receiver in the trunk, behind the liner, connect wiring to the MOST fiber ring, place antenna - out of sight, if you like), and programming can be done at your local MB dealer with their stardiagnose system.

Regarding the phone kit, if you want to use the cradles / Bluetooth interfaces that are being offered by wireless4mb.com, do keep in mind that you have to have the phone kit in your car already! If you don't have the phone module in the trunk, you have to get that first.

Wow I had no idea there was a SAT kit, that should make it much easier. Thank you so much.

I have read about the bluetooth stuff a lot but I still don't know if my car has the phone kit already. I don't have the hook up on the arm rest but I have heard that sometimes its all there just not poked through. I don't know!

You can check your car's trunk (I believe behind the right side liner) to see if there is actually a phone module. If not, then there is nothing installed in your car - except for the phone wiring / antenna - and you will need the complete phone kit.

If you do have the phone module installed, you only need the phone cradle OR a Bluetooth interface that goes into the armrest. But to be honest, I think you will need the entire phone kit.

Thanks for the info, I'll check tonight. Is the phone module a big piece of hardware im going to see or something fairly small?

I have a feeling bluetooth may be price prohibitive for this car, but at least it looks like Sirius isn't going to be too hard.
