I have tried to Google this issue with little success...but my wife has a C250. If we plug in an iPod to the USB it recognizes it and allows you to find songs individually, but will not recognize playlists. It gives an error (I forget the exact verbiage) but won't play.

While I have you here, why does the Mercedes occasionally not recognize bluetooth devices?? Then you have to delete them all then restart by adding them.
