Default 190D engine swap

I have a 1985 190D with a bad 2.2L non-turbo 4 cyl. I have found two good engines a 1984 3L turbo 5 cyl, and a 1990 2.5L turbo 5 cyl.
Will either of these work in my car (without major modifications)?
If so, will I be able to keep my transmission or should I use the one originally with the replacement motor (available at additional cost)?
Thanks

Neither will work. The 3.0L won't physically fit and the 2.5L needs an engine computer.

Thanks for your input forcedinduction. I found a correct engine on line. The seller reports it has 78,000 miles and it comes with a 180 day warranty. I hope to have it delivered and installed by mid-December.
