ESP fault

Unhappy ESP fault

Sorry if this has been asked before but:

Over the weekend I took my car (C180k SE Coupe 2004) into an independent garage , it needed a new rear tyre and the tracking rod needed replacing. On Monday I returned the car to the garage as the car was pulling towards the left and the steering wheel was not straight when going in a straight line.
Anyway they redid the tracking etc and gave me car back. The problem now is when driving the car back home from the garage the ESP light kept flashing and it now says ESP fault.

Could the mechanics have possibly moved something while doing the above work causing the light to come on???

Please help

Not sure exactly what the problem was, I took it back to the mechanic and when he gave it back to me the light was gone, I think they must have knocked/moved something accidentally. Sorry it really doesn't help anyone else.
