Default Xenon and Command navigation system.

I recently spoke with a rep at MB dealer in Denver about a few things and this is the information I got:
1. The cost (parts + labor) to install xenon headlights on 02 C32 would be around $7,000 because it would involve complicated wirings.
2. It would be impossible to install command system if the car didn't come with it because MB doesn't sell the part individually.
3. It would cost (p+l) around $1,000 to install CD changer in the glove compartment.

To me that sounds too bad to be true. Does anyone have any experience with the subjects above ? Any comments would be appreciated. Thank you.

Hm...I guess the dealer you went to must charge $1000 / hr in labor (the price for cd changer is about right, i got mine for $900 back in 2000, and it is in the trunk!)
You might want to try MBworld.org. for the xenon and command , I am sure you'll get a descent price there.

I would leave it as is. The next time you order, or purchase an mb just try to get the options you are interested in retrofitting. FYI, my xenon lights and nav are great but were an expensive option.
