clk 270 slow acceleration when accelerator pedal kicked down
Hi folks,
I have a 2003 mercedes clk270. when im driving normally the car runs fine but if i need to put the foot down there is a slow acceleration rate, no kick down or gear drop is felt. any thoughts?
the engine doesnt rev above 3000 in neutral. this is normal i am told.
another question, would low oil, ie 1.5 litre below max cause this symptom. i have a zafira also which went into limp home mode and wouldnt go above 3000 rpm and it just needed oil.
thanks in advance

whats a star diagnosis naz?
Do i take it to a MB dealer?
sometimes when i start the car it will only rev to 3000 in neutral and then while driving it wont accelerate quickly when kickdown done.
other times it revs to the limit in neutral and then i know when i start driving i have all the horses under the bonet.
cheers
