Hi,
This might sound like a odd question but how do I easiest change the front end parking light bulb (I have the same problem with the outer front end indicators) on a 2008 ML 320 CDI?
I know that the user manual says that the insert shall be twisted counter clockwise to release it, but how do I reach it? Do I require a special tool?
The manual does not refer to any tool.

Please let me know how you handled it. Any ideas is highly appreciated!

I have been looking around in the Forum but not found any threads discussing this matter. If I have missed it pls then direct me to it.

I have same problem. How did you solve it? Removing bumper cover and grill to extract lighting housing looks like the solution, but a lot of work!

 

Replaced passenger side parking light bulb using services of my local garage (independent). Took him 10 minutes using flashlight (to see down from the top of the front engine bulkhead), and a long-nose pliers. Even though P lights were switched on he advised me that the new bulb would not work until ignition was switched off then on again.
