Has anyone had a loss of tire pressure at high speed? My left front loses pressure at highway speeds (and higher) but keeps its pressure around town. I've had two MB dealers check the tire/rim and re-mount the tire. There are no visible punctures or leaks noted during the tank test. I'm wondering if the wheel might be causing the leak as the tire changes shape at speed. I haven't checked the wheel bolts (two piece AMG wheels on a 2006 CL55) but will do so. Any other suggestions?

 

double check the whole wheel. i see tons of cracked wheels and small pinholes in the wheel itself. could be the valve stem seal with TPM sensor. perform dunk tank test with tire overinflated to try to find the leak. pretty cut and dry. somethings leaking.

 

Thanks - I'll do that. I bought the car CPO and it looks like the wheel has been repaired and repainted. Nothing major but it might have been hit.
