Default 190 E - Help! The engine overheats!



<FONT face="Courier New, Courier, mono" color=black size=4>My Benz' keeps overheating. When i look under the hood, antifrreze leaks out. i dunno if this problem is due to a faulty Water pump or the head gasket. Please help.</FONT></P>

your going to have to give us more info than that. You could clean the engine really good and then find exactly where the leak is coming from. Tell us what you find then and I'm sure someone here can help. Good luck.

I am having the same problem right now! As I add coolant it leaks out from the bottot rear bolt that hold the water pump to the block. </P>


I don't know how one minute it is fone then leaks as fast as I can pour. Is this a pump or gasket or what? </P>


Anyone have a good write-up one changing a water pump in this beast?</P>


And yes I did use the search so please don't flame me.</P>

I had kinna the same problem on my first MB. It took forever for someone to finally diagnose her. The end result: She needed a whole new heater core. I dunno if this helps much, but thought it might.</P>
