Oil Sump / Lower Part Warranty Replacement.
I bought my 2005 C230K in July pre-owned. Just the other day I requested from MB Customer Assistance a copy of all the service records for my car up till now. While they were unable to give me a copy of all routine service records.(kept at performing dealerships) They did send me a copy of the warranty history and it reads like this:
08/23/2007 29,490 miles Amplifier, Sound System.
08/29/07 30,141 miles Loudspeaker Centerfill.
09/19/07 30,960 miles Loudspeaker Centerfill.
05/29/08 37,645 miles Oil Sump/Lower Part.
My questions: Are these repairs typical for that model year ? Whats up with the oil sump? Whats that all about and should I be concerned? Thanks.
