Newbie here requesting help on fuel filter replacement on my 03 C230k. Did a search and didn't turn up anything.

I am needing to know the location of the filter, any pertinent info. on replacing it, special tools required, and a P/N and location to purchase a filter other than a dealer.

My car has 65,000 miles on it and I know the dealer didn't replace the fuel filter during any of thescheduled maintenances while under warranty, so I need to change it pretty quick.

1. Frame floor ahead of rear suspension in fuel pump assembly.
2. Frame floor on left ahead of rear suspension, suspended separately on rubber rings.
3. If above does not work out, follow the fuel lines from the tank and you gonna find fuel pump and fuel filter close to each other. Assembly might be covered with peace of plastic.
