Retrofit Airbags to '85 TD? Any Advice?
Hi All,
I'm looking into the possibility, (and feasibility) of putting a late model airbag system into an older car, say the '85 300 TD that I'm looking at buying....
Why? because I would like to have airbags in a daily driver that's an affordable classic, well made, economical to run, etc. Airbags are proven to be life savers, and in a rugged passanger cage like the W123 (do I have that right?) it would be pretty safe.....
Has anyone attempted or looked at doing something similar?
