Default I bet you have no clue

1992 S500 W140 with 119 engine.

The insulation (biodegradable I suppose) of the wire connecting to the alternator is gone. I found out the other end is connected to a hard to access area. I need to change this wire. Please advise where this wire is connected to.
Thankyou.

The wire is connected to starter, battery and maybe circuit 15R. I have re-wire the wire and a lot of codes are now gone. Next is to check all the wire in the car, going to all sensors, fuses, etc..
