Default Will 15" wheels from 92 300 fit 85 300d

I would like to know if the wheels from a 1992 300e or d 15" would fit a 1985 300d
Thank You in advance for any information.

Is there a part number on the wheels as i am looking at a set being sold by a tire shop and I doubt that they know the difference between a 126 and 124. This is a CL listing with a 220 mile round trip drive for me and will travel if I am sure they will work and not for a test fit. Or can you tell by looking at a photo as the listing does have photos? It is in the Chicago IL section $350.00
for new tires with wheels.

I am also skeptical when I inquired why would someone sell tires with 10 miles on them they said the purchaser blew the motor just after leaving the shop.
TIA for any reply.

You can add a spacer just to accommodated the form wheels so that it could clear the tie rod end.
