Just purchased my first Mercedes and leave it to luck .... it has a bad rim. It's a Lowenhart LD1 19 91/2" rim for a Mercedes CLK 320 (2003).
I've had the rim welded 2x by the same place ..... never lasts more than 2 hours.

Would like to replace rim with another or replace barrel or find someone who can REALLY fix it.

Any suggestions would be appreciated .... I'm new at this whole thing. Besides, it's quite embarrassing to show off your new convertable Mercedes with a "boot-legger" spare on the back wheel!
