I need to purchase a new set of tires for a 2002 MERCEDES E320 SPORTS PACKAGE. After doing research on Tirerack.com it seems that the 2 best choices are AVON TECH M550 or ContiExtremeContact. Any recommendations for either tire.

 

I recently purchased a set of the Continentals that you listed and they are great! They are quiet, smooth, grip well on dry or wet pavement (I haven't had them on snow or ice yet). Even my wife, who has not driven the car yet, commented on how much smoother they were than my old tires. The old tires we good, and not worn down to nothing when I replaced them.

Just so you know I only have about 1000 miles on them, but so far I am extremely satisfied. My vehicle is a 2003 E 320.
