Hello, all. I'm new to the forum and need advice on tires.

I have a 1992 300E 2.6 with 206,100 miles. It's time to get new tires and I've always gone to the dealership to purchase Michelins over the life of my car. (I know ... they charge high prices).

Now, I'm shopping around and I only see two kinds of Michelins available in my size (196/65/R15). I always thought Michelin was top of the line, but has that changed in the past few years?

I only drive about 50 miles/week and make about two to three 500-mile roadtrips each year. I want the best quality for my money and in my area, Michelins are running from $119 to $123. Any advice would be great!
