Does anybody know the ramifications of missing a couple of rivets on a multipiece rim? How detrimental is this? I read that you can not simply buy the rivets and replace them yourself. Does anybody know how much it will be to have HRE replace these rivets?

Yes it is dangerous to drive with missing or broken assembly bolts.

If you are located in the NY area, you can go to Parts & Polish, they are an authorized HRE center to do repairs also. The bolts uually cost around $6-$8 each, and installation can be about $50-$75/ rim,depending on how many bolts are needed. Call 516-466-3553 ask for Jonathan, tell him Dennis sent you.

P.S. you can also ship them the wheels if you dont live in the area.
